NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, By the Board of Supervisors of the County of Montgomery, Virginia that the Board of Supervisors hereby schedules a public hearing for Monday, July 27, 2026 at 7:15 p.m. or as soon thereafter in the Board Room in the Montgomery County Government Center located at 755 Roanoke Street, Christiansburg, Virginia 24073, in order to hear citizens comments on a proposed ordinance establishing a tax at the rate of $1.00 per One Hundred Dollars of assessed value for a separate classification for tangible personal property taxation for motor vehicles owned or leased by certain members of a volunteer rescue squad or volunteer fire department in the County of Montgomery, Virginia.
