Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on July 13, 2026, at 7:15 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Board of Supervisor's intention to act on the following Ordinances:
A request by SHAH Development (Agent: Westwood Professional Services) to rezone 0.91 acres of a 3.551-acre parcel from Agricultural (A-1) to Residential (R-1) that will be transferred to, and combined with adjacent property owner Christ Wesleyan Church, Inc.
The property is located on Mud Pike and is further identified as Tax Map 092-4 2 (Parcel ID 008105). The property is located in an area designated as Residential Transition in the 2025 Montgomery County Comprehensive Plan. The property is in the Riner Magisterial District.
