
On March 9, 2026, County Administrator Angela Hill presented the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 (FY27) budget to the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors.
The proposed FY27 budget totals $285.7 million and includes a real estate tax rate of 81 cents per $100 of assessed value, which is a five-cent increase over the approved FY 26 real estate tax rate.
