County seeks feedback on web-based mapping tool
Montgomery County is seeking feedback
on its web-based mapping tool. Staff will use the responses to complete an upgrade to the county's online GIS map portal.
"The county's GIS team is excited about this opportunity to enhance the user experience for our citizens and everyone who uses our online GIS system," said Emily Gibson, Director of Planning & GIS Services.
The purpose of the mapping tool is to provide county GIS data for viewing and use by the public. The current online mapping tool, iGIS Map Portal
, was created in 2013 and is one of the county's most visited websites.
