The Public Information Office communicates County events and services, releases government news and information to the public and serves as the official spokesman for Montgomery County. The Office communicates through publications, videos, news releases, advertisements, Montgomery County Minute audio podcasts, WTOB channel 2 in Blacksburg and this web site.
All regular meetings of the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors are videotaped live and rebroadcast on WTOB - Blacksburg cable channel 2, each Tuesday at 1 p.m., Thursday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. Videotapes of Board meetings - the complete meeting or a specific segment - also are available by request.
