Administrative Services Division

Positions in the Administrative Division include: the Sheriff, Chief Deputy, Lieutenant of Administration, Sergeant of Administration, Sheriff's Secretary, Civil Division Secretary, and Records Clerks. It takes great team effort between these positions and the other divisions to make a successful, professional, and efficient running Office.

Lieutenant of Administration

Lt. Brian Wright Lieutenant Brian Wright is in charge of the Administrative Services and Crime Prevention Divisions. He is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of personnel assigned to these Divisions. His duties also include scheduling trainings for the Sheriff's Office personnel, as required by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, researching and applying for grants, implementation and revisions of policies, and implications of new laws and techniques of police work that affect the Office, and directing the Project Lifesaver program. He also supervises deputies assigned to D.A.R.E., Class Action instructors, School Resource Officers, Crime Prevention Officers and State Accreditation.
