Project Updates
Rural Additions
The rural additions program allows the County and county
residents to petition the Virginia Department of Transportation
(VDoT) to make a private road part of the public secondary
state road system. As the timeline indicates, the time frame
for the process can take well over a year and involves securing
the necessary easements and moving utilility lines/poles.
