Huckleberry Trail Users Survey

The first users survey was conducted during the summer of 2000 by Radford University Student Intern. The Planning Department wanted to determine whether the results were a reflection of actual use patterns or were a reflection of the season in which the survey was conducted. The second Huckleberry Trail users survey, based in part on the first survey with additional questions pertaining to the Coal Mining Heritage Park, was designed and conducted by students in the Urban Affairs and Planning Department at Virginia Tech.
