Received notice of award from State Department of Housing and Community Development
(DHCD) for $499,700 for the Free Clinic's Renovations to 215 Roanoke Street.
Meeting with state representatives scheduled for July 9th to begin contract
negotiations. |

Second public hearing held March 25th. Completed and submitted application
to renovate county office building at 215 Roanoke Street for use by Free-Clinic.

Working with Free-Clinic of the New River Valley on potential application
to renovate county office building at 215 Roanoke Street. First public hearing
held February 5th. |

Kelly Boyers attended workshop in Abingdon. Held initial meeting with Free-Clinic
of the New River Valley on potential application to renovate county office building
at 215 Roanoke Street. Advertising for first public hearing to be held February

CDBG. Completed and submitted grant application for expansion of Block Grant
Industrial Park. |

CDBG. Working with Economic Development, Blacksburg Town Staff, and consultant
(Anderson & Associates) on potential grant application for expansion of
Blacksburg Industrial Park. Prepared and submitted grant application for Lyric
Theater. |

CDBG. Held first public hearing. Met with NRVPDC staff and Blacksburg Town
staff on potential grant applications for development of Blacksburg Industrial
Park. |
