The following list of routes are
addressed in detail in this plan. It is recommended that these routes be funded
as Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) road improvements occur. Proposed
lanes should be constructed to VDOT standards. While specific costs have not
been addressed in this plan, it is estimated that one mile of paved lanes would
cost $30,000 if completed when road improvements occur. This figure would increase
to approximately $50,000 per mile if completed independent of VDOT improvements.
