NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Board of Zoning Appeals hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room (Second Floor) of the County Government Center, Christiansburg, Virginia, to consider the request listed below. Information related thereto may be reviewed at the Department of Planning and Inspections, 755 Roanoke Street Suite 2A, Christiansburg, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. or by calling (540) 382-5750.

  1. Bonnie S. Brewer requests a variance to Section 10-37, Flood Damage Prevention Overlay, in General Business (GB), of the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance, with possible conditions to allow a non-residential structure in the floodway district to be modified, repaired or altered. The property is identified as Tax Parcel Nos. 90C-2-16, 17, & 18 (Account ID # 027206), 3031 Radford Road in the Riner Magisterial District.
  2. CRAWCO LLCs appeal of the zoning administrators decision dated February 3, 2003 that a Special Use Permit is required for the operation of a driving range. The property is identified as Tax Parcel Nos. 78-A-62,63 & 64 (Account ID# 016377, 016381, 016378), 1701 Round Meadow Drive in the Riner Magisterial District.
