The Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is a transportation policy-making
organization serving the Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and Montgomery area. The MPO
provides the information, tools, and public input necessary to improve the
performance of the transportation system of the region. Future transportation
needs are addressed, giving consideration to all possible strategies and the
community's vision.
