positions that are currently being advertised. Consult the

A County application is required. You can pick up a copy at the Human Resources Department or download an electronic version:

Employment application FAQ
Which version of the employment application should I use?
- If Microsoft Word is installed on your computer, you can save a copy of the Microsoft Word version of the
application to your computer. To save a copy, right-click on
this link,
choose "Save Target As," then click the "Save" button. Make note of the location on your computer where you
saved the file.
- The Adobe Acrobat version of the application requires Acrobat Reader. If Acrobat Reader is not installed on
your computer, you can
download it at no charge. To
save a copy of the Adobe Acrobat version, right-click on
this link,
choose "Save Target As," then click the "Save" button. Make note of the location on your computer where you
saved the file.
I saved the Microsoft Word version of the application to my computer. What's the next step?
- Navigate to the location where you saved the file.
- Double-click on the file named "mcapp.doc". Microsoft Word should be launched automatically.
- Choose one of the following:
- Fill out the application in Microsoft Word. When finished, save the file, then choose one of
the following:
- Print out the completed application. Fax or postal mail the application
(and your resume, if necessary) to Human Resources.
- Email the completed application
(and your resume, if necessary) to Human Resources.
- Print out the blank application to complete by hand. Fax or postal mail the application
(and your resume, if necessary) to Human Resources.
