The Human Resources Department administers personnel policies and
procedures, classification and compensation, performance management,
benefits, and employee relations; supports County departments and agencies
in recruiting, selecting, developing, and maintaining an effective County
work force; provides training and professional development opportunities
for employees; and coordinates employee recognition events.
The mission of the Human Resources Department is to:
- Serve as a source for Human Resources information and expertise that is relevant, accurate and
utilizes the latest developments in the HR field;
- Strive to provide a competitive salary and benefit package;
- Employ technology and methods that enhance service, communications and productivity.
- Help make the County a great place to work both professionally and personally.
- Serve all County offices and agencies by supporting their day-to-day human resources needs.
- Provide resources, guidance and consulting services to all managers and employees on human
resources matters.
