Litter Control

The Litter Control Department performs the administrative services for the Montgomery County Improvement Council (MCIC) with regard to the Paint Exchange, Broomin' & Bloomin', and the Hazardous Waste Day. Litter Control also provides the opportunity to Adopt-a-Spot, while the Virginia Department of Highways (VDoT) provides the opportunity to Adopt-a-Highway. The Paint Exchange is held once a year during spring or summer at differing locations and times. Useable latex paint is accepted or available at no cost. For information on the Paint Exchange, please feel free to contact Ms. Crable.
