Adoption
Dogs can be adopted from the County Shelter for a minimal fee. Puppies are available for adoption
at no charge.
The adoption agreement requires that any unneutered dogs
upon adoption must be sterilized within 30 days. Puppies must be sterilized when they
reach six months of age. The dogs must be properly vaccinated for rabies and licenses
obtained as stated above. Providing a home (thereby saving a dog from possible
extermination) and being a responsible owner for the animal are certainly appreciated.

Cats
- All cats must be vaccinated for rabies at four months old or older.
